In an offline discussion, we touched the topic of versioning and node-wot.
At the moment, we keep increasing the minor version (e.g., 0.9.x) but stay away from a major release. I would like to start the discussion about when to move to the first major version.
Personally, I think we can start thinking about moving to 1.x.y:
- the recent changes to node-wot are rather minimal. Hence, I think we can mark it as "stable". It gives us alsop more credibility.
- TD 1.x is released and the work on TD2.x has been started
What makes sense to implement in the 1.x version is w3c/wot-scripting-api#561 once agreed on.
Otherwise, with the work in TD2 we can start thinking about moving to the next major version soon afterward.
Any opinions/ideas?
