[Feature Request] Cross-Platform Runtime Instability in Eigent Local Client (OS / Package Sources / Terminals) #909

Description

Motivation

Our Eigent local client has run into way too many issues across different operating systems, OS versions, and package mirror sources.

Our desktop agent installs Python and TypeScript packages at startup after the installer finishes. There are problem in different systems and different package sources. Also every agent runs code in terminal. Is it better to use virtualization machine to unify the runtimes so terminal coding ability would not vary on different platforms.

I took a look at an architecture analysis of Claude Cowork, and it seems to be based on Apple’s Virtualization Framework, running an Ubuntu VM.

Can this technology or something similar be used to simultaneously solve both macOS and Windows compatibility issues?

If anyone is familiar with this kind of technology, I’d love to exchange ideas and learn more.
