Steps to reproduce

  1. Create a Matrix session with NO device keys, just a plain login.
  2. Open Element Web, go to Settings -> Other sessions
  3. See your device in the list.

Outcome

What did you expect?

The device should be unverified, but with a neutral icon. The interface should imply that your account is verified / safe.

What happened instead?

The device has a red icon, implying it is somehow in a bad state. The interface currently implies my account is not verified.
