What Happened?
I'm using pipewire-pulse as my pulse server. I am able to get audio to play by using pavucontrol and routing applications to specific devices.
However, it would be nice to not need pavucontrol to manage this, and instead just select a system output device from the switchboard plugin or indicator panel.
I don't see a virtual pipewire/sink device that I've created, although I can hear it through pavucontrol. I don't see the audio interfaces available to the system, although I can again explicitly target them using pavucontrol.
Steps to Reproduce
Use pipewire-pulse -- mask the old pulseaudio.service, setup a systemd service for pipewire-pulse.
Connect an audio interface which does not display in the switchboard sound settings page (in this case, it's an Antelope Orion Studio Synergy -- but I remember having this issue with other devices in the past as well, with or without pipewire-pulse)
Verify that the card is visible to the pulse server, you can get sound out of the device by other means, and that the card is detected and supported by drivers
Expected Behavior
I'd at least see default sinks and sources for these devices as options. If needed, more detailed setup can be done elsewhere -- but for system level audio I'd like to be able to select the device easily from the indicator.
OS Version
7.x (Horus)
Software Version
Latest release (I have run all updates)
Log Output
There isn't really any relevant log afaik, at least not from pipewire-pulse is working normally, pipewire is working normally, alsa is working normally. I just don't see the devices in the switchboard.
Hardware Info
No response
