What Happened?
Wingpanel becomes narrower when my laptop is connected to an external dispalay. Wingpanel retains the width even after disconnecting the external display. Adjusting the resolution of the built-in display seems to fix the width of wingpanel.
This issue occurs with both external monitors I have access to. One of them has a lower resolution that the built-in display whereas the other one has the same.
Steps to Reproduce
- Connect laptop to external display
-- Wingpanel changes width --
- Disconnect external display
-- Wingpanel retains width --
- Change built-in display resolution
-- Wingpanel reverts back to the expected width --
Expected Behavior
The expected behaviour is that wingpanel should retain its default edge-to-edge width.
