Hi,

I have Audible account and want to download all chapters, the MPD link usually looks like this

i tried both n_m3u8dl and yt-dlp but none of tools worked. So, as above provided link, may I know it works with the the tool?

It looks like this stream is using DRM, so you will need decryption keys. If you know how to obtain those, it should be easy to try dash-mpd-cli and find out whether it works.

I got the key and added to dash-mpd-cli --key xxxx but the downloaded file is .mp4 and couldn't be played.

I double checked and the link content is mp4 while it should be .m4u or .m4a, so strange

An .mp4 container is generated by default indeed, but it's also possible to save in a Matroska container; please check the documentation. And an MP4 container can contain M4A audio, so that's not the issue. Perhaps the decryption keys were not correct; you that you should ask for verbose logging (-v -v option) and check what the logs say about the decryption process.
