Path motion is broken on the latest epics-modules/lua(a905067)

More investigation is needed, however path motion no longer works at all when using https://github.com/epics-modules/lua/commit/a905067d8686cfd6ecef2730a8f3d76a732a925e, which at the time of writing this is the latest commit on master.
