We could even drop in a C compilation or a Julia run or another R session or ....

The fact that it is any use of the computer is really key. We just happen to use Emacs (as it fits into terminal mode) to edit files together. Oh, and maybe run some R in ESS.

We could even show httpgd as it is very cool. But I think only one of use would get to see graphics. Still, would be visible in the Zoom....

httpgd looks cool, but maybe gets a bit complicated.

Yeah maybe just worth mentioning that one can plot "live" now from a terminal and is no longer limited to pdf, png, ...
