At first glance, your log looks unusual because the security rate (sec_rate) is much higher than expected and there are too many unparsable outputs (non_parsed).

Experiments on my side

I ran the following command on my side. Here I set target=nf4 as you seem to be interested in our work on rounding-based quantizations.

The exact numbers might differ depending on your exact setting, but qualitatively, security for quantized models should be much lower and there should be fewer unparsable outputs than your output.

What you could do

One thing you could check first is to print the completion (here) and things around there. If it is weird (e.g., empty), then the issue is in generating the code. If it is fine, then the issue is more likely in the evaluation step (e.g., CodeQL setup).

If that does not help you solve the issue, please share a bit more context (which model variant you’re using, which quantization you're targeting, etc) and anything you find suspicious. Thanks!

Hi, Thanks for the follow-up question. I assume you are continuing to work on the code poisoning scenario, with rounding-based quantizations.

As a quick summary: the command examples on readme or my former description are the pipeline you need to run.

The pipeline includes four files:

• injection.sh is responsible for injecting malicious behavior (step 1 of the attack)
• repair.sh is responsible for calculating the constraint, and the PGD training within the constraint (steps 2 and 3)
• evaluation.sh and print.sh are responsible for the evaluation and the visualization of the result.

If you want to evaluate the model on multiple benchmarks, you have to run evaluation.sh and print.sh multiple times. For example, if you want to see the result for human_eval, please set task=human_eval, run evaluation.sh, and then print.sh

Regarding the scripts you mentioned, eval_repair.sh (attacking each data type separately) and eval_repair_at_once.sh (attacking all data types at once) are convenience wrappers for running all of these scripts together, but currently, they only support attacking gguf quantization types.
