[Feature]: Swap Month/Day when showing date #208

Description

Feature summary

A checkbox in the general behavior section that will cause the day and month to be swapped around.

Problem / use case

Someone who lives in the USA or the Philippines may be confused if they see that something from Arch News was shared on 05-04-2026 because they'd incorrectly assume that the date they are reading refers to May 4th, 2026, not one month prior on April 5th, 2026. The user would have no way of knowing that the dates are flipped compared to what they are used to. It can be especially confusing when the user has a date widget somewhere in their panel or on their desktop, as most users would expect the date on their panel to match the date format on Apdatifier. After noticing that the dates are flipped, the user would have to keep mental note every time they check for Arch News or updates.

Proposed solution

A checkbox in the Apdatifier settings that would allow the user to toggle a MM-DD-YYYY format for dates, rather than DD-MM-YYYY

Alternatives considered

  1. Perhaps a way to automatically determine which format should be used based on the region the system is set to (via language or keyboard settings, if it is possible to access that info)?

  2. Just knowing that the dates are flipped :(
