Project still alive?

Last release was published over 2 years ago, issues have been registered but don't seem to get resolved (or PRs merged).

Should we consider this project abandoned and switch to a more maintained library with similar features?

@jhalterman was pretty clear a while back that he wouldn't have time to maintain it, and he asked if anyone else would like to take over. I don't think anyone volunteered. (I didn't.)

But I use the library, and it would be a pain for me to switch now. But there are no pain points for me. If there are for you, you could either step up as a maintainer, or as you suggest, switch to another library.

The project isn't abandoned will get additional updates, but as the maintainer, I've been focused on other projects recently (such as Failsafe-go). The good news is Failsafe-go has spawned some new ideas such as the adaptive limiter and execution prioritization, which I hope to bring back to this Failsafe library.
