Because of how this version of Wipeout works, players who currently don't play are still present in the arena, making it harder to distinguish between players who actually play, but spectating players are also invincible, which allows them to grief boss stages like "Survive MONOCULUS," where players can aggro bosses to attack them instead of actually playing players, or "Obstacle Course," where they can stall the deadly spiky wall following players. Also, at the end of the round, the winning player can only kill players who played the last minigame. Everyone else is invincible.
My suggestion is to change players who don't play into "ghost players" from Halloween maps so they can only fly around and spectate. When they lose all lives, they stay as ghosts until the round ends. Additionally, for players who don't actually play, don't display a minigame's instructions, "You won/lost" etc.
And if possible, add a counter to display somewhere on the screen to show how many lives players have left.
