Bug: ERROR_DIRECTORY for zip files

Description

In Files, when I'm in Column view, each zip file as a ">" mark like subfolders. If i Select a zip file, I assume any of those options :
1- Files gives me file properties
2- Files enable me to browse Zip content

but I don't wan't a popup with ERROR_DIRECTORY message

Steps To Reproduce

Display column view
navigate to a folder containing zip archive
click on a zip file

Files Version

4.0.37.0

Windows Version

10.0.26200.8037

User ID

Thanks for the report,

• Does it still give an error in details layout?
• Is Files set as the default to open zips?
• Can you please upload the debug.log file (DON'T copy and paste the text) directly to GitHub (email attachments don't work). You can get it in Files settings > About > Open log location. (You should check it for emails and names you don't want public)

Yes, it also happens in details layout, when I double click on a zip file, it propose me apps to open it, if I pick Files, I have the same error Non Fils isn't my default app to open zip files debug file is attached

• Are you able to open the zip in Windows File Explorer?
• For the log, email attachments don't work. You will have to click the View on GitHub link at the bottom of the email > Copy and paste or click the add attachment button to select the file > Wait until you don't see uploading in the text > Click the green comment button.

Yes it opens perfectly in Windows Explorer
