Video player no loading in MacOS 15.4.1 #202

on updating to 0.27.6 I'm no longer able to get a video player in macOS 15.4.1 and get the Unknown control: video displayed in the UI.
I've tested with the example and error is present there also.
I'm using python 3.13.2 on a MacMini M4
No errors are displayed in the terminal or when building the app.
