On Brave browser (MacOS), sync icon stucks on syncing

Describe the Bug

When Floccus tries to sync automatically following the Synchronization interval, the icon stays in syncing mode (see image) until I click on it. It seems like it's stuck.
This never happens on manual syncing.

Expected Behavior

The cloud with the circle icon should stay in the "syncing" stage for a few seconds and then it should display the cloud with the tick icon which means that it was synced.

To Reproduce

Setup Floccus on Chrome or Brave browser, wait for it to sync automatically and when the syncing starts it never finishes until you click on it.

Nobody here is under any obligation to help you, solve your problems or deliver on any expectations or demands you may have, but if enough people come together we can collaborate to make this software better. I don't seem to be able to reproduce this, for me it just works with Chromium Version 146.0.7680.80

I have the same Chromium version on Brave.

I use encrypted xbel (I don't know if it plays any role)
