This pull request introduces major enhancements to the vault system, expanding support for new vault backends (unencrypted, keyring, and external/CLI tool-based vaults), and improves the flexibility and documentation of templating and expression usage throughout the project. It also cleans up dependencies and updates documentation to reflect these new features and best practices.
