[Network] Unable to Copy Request/Response Body in Android Studio and IntelliJ IDEA

Description

Currently, it's not possible to copy the request or response body from the Network tab using the developer tools. Neither the copy button nor manual selection and copy operations work.

Can you elaborate? By manual selection and copy, do you mean, copy via right-click, or the keyboard shortcut, or something else?

1. The ‘Copy’ button in Dev Tools (shown on the right in the screenshot above) doesn’t work for Request and Response content.
2. The Response tab has a dropdown to change the view type to Auto, JSON, or Text. Selecting Text lets you manually select part or all of the response and use Ctrl+C to copy it. However, right-clicking doesn’t work here - the context menu doesn’t appear.
3. The Request tab does not have the same view type dropdown as the Response tab. Since the request is automatically formatted as JSON, there’s currently no way to copy the request content.

The behavior here is very odd. In Android Studio, I can sometimes copy text (by selecting text and then using ctrl+c / ctrl+v), but it happens make 1 out of every 5-10 times I try to copy-paste.

The response tab copy button doesn't work at all. When I DevTools as a standalone app, it does work, and I see a notification in the bottom right that the text was copied.
