Using paid plan and forwarding all responses #435

I am interested in using the paid plan to do "Send Email with Custom Domain" but I want all the responses to the sent emails forwarded to an address in another domain (in my case, Gmail). The instructions here say not to set up forwarding DNS TXT records if I have a paid plan. Is that because there's some sort of preferences UI on the paid plan that allows me to set up the forwarding in my account configuration? Or will I use DNS TXT records to set up the forwarding? |

I am interested in this as well, but considering there was no reply, not very hopeful. I currently aggregate all my different email accounts (some are self hosted, some are google workspace) into one gmail account.. I do this by setting each account to forward a copy to the gmail account. And I have each account set up as a "send as" in gmail, so I can manage multiple accounts from one gmail interface. Most of those accounts are actually catch-all accounts. Works great. I was thinking of switching some emails (particularly the Google workspace emails) over to a paid forwardemail account. But reading the FAQs and other info, I'm not seeing account-level forwarding mentioned. It's also very difficult to understand as the "forward only" instructions seem mixed with the paid account instructions. I'd need features: The ability to to server-level forward of a catch-all account to a gmail account (so the email is from the original sender when it arrives in my gmail account), as well as the ability to send via SMTP using google (which I did see instructions for). Is this possible? |

Having since gotten a paid plan and set this up, I can answer my own question: yes, there's UI for this on paid plans. |
