##Toolbar design wireframe: le wireframe

As you can see it consists of three elements:
  • Overview button
  • Search bar
  • Cog menu

OVERVIEW BUTTON:

Unity tweak tool uses two levels navigation - Overview Page -> Some settings tab, hence we can't use bredcrumbs, which left us with one possible solution - a button that brings the user back to the Overview page when he is in some tab. The button should be active only when the user is in some tab and not when he is in the Overview page itself: https://bugs.launchpad.net/unity-tweak-tool/+bug/1102072

SEARCH BAR

It is meant to Search through the entire application, however it will NOT make it in the 13.04, because we have no time for it. It is planned for 13.10 release, through.

COG MENU

This is NOT a replacement for the menubar, it's a very simple menu that will host two option (three in 13.10 release) - Backup, Restore (and Sync). The cog icon we will use is part of gnome symbolic icons set and it's found in: /usr/share/icons/gnome/scalable/emblems/ under the name: emblem-system-symbolic.svg
