Just received the alert that a new version is available.

What’s the recommended upgrade path?

To update or re-install geoip-shell: run the -install script from the (updated) distribution directory.

If I run the -install script again, will it preserve my current configuration, or will I need to reconfigure everything from scratch?

Yes, it will. And this is the recommended way to update geoip-shell.

Do i need to create a new folder? or can i just git pull over the same folder and launch the install?

You can git pull and launch the install.
