Code of Conduct

Our Standard

This project expects respectful, direct, and constructive collaboration.

Examples of expected behavior:

  • discussing ideas and tradeoffs in good faith
  • giving actionable technical feedback
  • being clear about uncertainty, limitations, and risks
  • respecting different levels of experience
  • accepting correction without escalation

Examples of unacceptable behavior:

  • harassment, intimidation, or personal attacks
  • discrimination or exclusionary language
  • deliberate doxxing or exposure of private information
  • posting another person's credentials, cookies, or account data
  • bad-faith disruption of issues, reviews, or discussions

Scope

This code of conduct applies to:

  • issues
  • pull requests
  • discussions
  • review comments
  • any project-managed community spaces

Maintainer Responsibilities

Maintainers may edit, remove, or reject comments, issues, pull requests, and other contributions that violate this code of conduct.

They are also responsible for setting clear expectations and enforcing them consistently.

Reporting

If you experience or witness unacceptable behavior, contact the maintainers privately through GitHub rather than escalating publicly with personal details.

When reporting:

  • include links, screenshots, or quotes if relevant
  • omit secrets and personal credentials
  • keep the report factual and specific

Enforcement

Project maintainers may take any action they judge appropriate, including warning, temporary restriction, or permanent removal from project spaces.

The goal is to protect contributors and keep collaboration productive.
