`fsi-out` buffer remains empty

I'm using neovim 0.5-HEAD and I'm unable to see any output being sent to the fsi-out buffer, do I need to set up something special to enable this?

Are there troubleshooting steps I can use? It's working with Ionide-vim but that's asking me to install another plugin while I'm using neovim built-in LSP
