Feature request: "Hide from Home" and "Play Feed As Queue" are too close together.

Just this week I've accidentally deleted my entire queue twice, that I've spent hours organising just because I wanted to hide a video from home but due to that button being too close to the button for playing the feed as queue, the app thought I wanted to play feed as queue and completely overriden my queue and wiping away any way to restore the queue I had spend hours building and organising.

The queue should be faster treated as holy, not something that could be completely wiped from existence without a shadow of evidence, just because two buttons were too close together.

(Buttons being too close together is also an issue when trying to delete videos from a queue, but at least there it doesn't nuke the entire queue.)

This poor behaviour is extremely demoralising and heartbreaking, please fix it.

Proposal

Move buttons that can completely wipe any trace of the queue further apart from those that are frequently used to manage what videos we see.

Or better yet, whenever one might nuke the entire queue without even leaving any traces, give a popup warning the same as when trying to delete a queue or a playlist, since consequences are the same.

Please fix this as it keeps happening and it's incredibly painful, when it happened to me just now, I legit just stared at the phone in shock...

The queue should be treated as holy and not something that could be wiped from existence by a misclick.

I don't even know what to do with myself now that so much work was just deleted...

I am sorry this happened to you, but I don't believe the queue is meant to be permanent, if I understand your issue correctly wouldn't the watch later be better for this purpose?

I could be wrong, but from what I've observed, Watch Later behaves slightly differently, and even if it were identical, it doesn't fix the UX and UI issue that I've described.

Misclicking the Hide and accidentally pressing Play Feed as Queue will still delete your entire queue and irreversibly replace it, even if you had created your queue temporarily.

If you switch to the Playlists tab, when you try to delete any playlist it always asks you if you're sure you want to do that.

But the way it's currently designed, misclicking and pressing onto Play Feed as Queue (which is a useful feature, don't take it away please), will not ask you if you're sure you want to delete the already existent queue.

Slightly, yes, but the watch later acts more of as a permanent queue in the form of a playlist, so for example if you watch a video in the watch later it will be removed automatically like a queue, and like a playlist you can rearrange videos in it to your preference, I think it would be better for your purpose instead of relying on the queue, which I think is more intended as a temporary way to queue videos.

Not knocking your feature request, I personally think and many other people agree that the current status of the UI/UX design is less than optimal (cramped elements, square ridges, somewhat Material You inspired design but breaks it in many ways,) that being said, I can't speak for the dev team but this issue will likely take low priority compared to the hundreds of other issues open.
