Question: Screenshot support on macOS and crash attachment behavior on Apple platforms

Hi Sentry team,

I have a few questions regarding screenshot capture and attachments on Apple platforms.

1. macOS support (primary question):
   From the documentation and SDK behavior, it appears that screenshot attachment support is not available on macOS.

   • Could you clarify whether this is due to technical limitations (e.g., platform restrictions around capturing screenshots, especially during crashes)?
   • Or is it more of a product/design decision (e.g., lower demand or prioritization)?
   • Are there any plans to support screenshot attachments on macOS in the future?

2. iOS crash events and attachments:
   The documentation on screenshots states:

   "Sentry makes it possible to automatically take a screenshot and include it as an attachment when a user experiences an error, an exception or a crash. When a crash occurs on Apple operating systems, there is no guarantee that the Cocoa SDK can still capture a screenshot since you're technically not allowed to call any async unsafe code. While it still works in most cases, we can't guarantee screenshots for all types of crashes."

   However, the attachments documentation mentions:

   "Adding attachments to crashes is currently not supported."

   Based on this, I would like to clarify:

   • If a crash occurs on iOS and a screenshot capture succeeds, will it actually be attached to the crash event, or does the attachment limitation mean it cannot be uploaded regardless?
   • Is there any recommended workaround or future plan to support screenshot attachments for crash events?
