tbh, I'm a bit surprised that legacy upload didn't support glob patterns. the glob supports definitely predates debugIds. Forgive me gaslighting here but are we sure this isn't handled somewhere else already?
Chances are though that we accidentally(?) dropped support for glob patterns when demoting the release based source maps upload to the legacy upload in favour of debugIds, so I'll trust you on this.
