You have a great concept for a package. I would really like to use pulse from the command line. I have also looked at git-quick-stats. Both of your packages are promising, but I've had trouble getting them to be fully functional. For what it's worth, I prefer your approach as a gh extension and the visualizations are quite nice. They have more contributors. You are both pretty early, perhaps combining forces?
Anyway, my specific issue is that I get:

Also, a nit, I did not have gnuplot installed. It was fairly easy to figure out that it needed to be brew installed, but a doc update might be good.
