Feature Request: line-break branch names / elevate them across the entire lane space or at least add a tooltip showing the entire name quickly when hovering

We have somewhat long branch names given the team size and wide area of topics we cover during ERP implementation.

The branch names are truncated at the width of the file tree of a lane -- which is typically OK to keep somewhat narrow.

The commit title gets a bit more real-estate as it sits above the content area of a lane.

It would be nice if the branch names could get more real-estate to display in full, e.g.

• by line-breaking
• by elevating the branch / lane title to the top of the entire lane
• by adding a tooltip that quickly shows the entire branch name when hovering.

Thanks a lot for sharing!

I see that long branch names are truncated in a place that makes it hard to distinguish them. For instance, if there was a long prefix, all branches would look the same.

While Lite doesn't have that problem, the Svelte UI could implement changes.

A tool-tip is already present even.

Maybe another way would be to put the elipsis in the center.
