Incorrect rendering of code snippets indented with tabs

Describe the bug

I noticed weird misalignment of code snippets indented with tabs. It's best shown on the following screenshot:

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Prompt:

I want to repro a code formatting bug I think copilot has. help me with it:

   generate 2 identical C# files, just code which calculates fibonacci numbers say
   - one will be indented by tabs
   - one will be indented by spaces

   show both on screen

2. hit ctrl+o to expand recent

Expected behavior

The code in "boxes" will be displayed nicely. Instead, it appears the "padding" to make the code boxes full width is broken.
