This appears to have been addressed by the terminal rendering changes that landed after v0.0.394. Alternate screen rendering was introduced and later enabled by default in v1.0.8, and the older rendering path that relied on incremental cursor positioning has since been fully replaced. Those changes removed the behavior that could cause content to shift horizontally. If you're still seeing this on a current version, please feel free to reopen this issue.
