Paste is not working in github copilot terminal

Describe the bug

Hey, has anyone experienced this issue with GitHub Copilot terminal in PowerShell or CMD? The paste commands aren't working, and right-click paste inserts a garbage string. Everything works fine in regular terminals. This started happening after I rebooted my machine.

apparently this should be fixed in the latest pre-release? I just reported this too, and it got closed by someone because it will be taken care of, evidently.

This is NOT fixed.

In the latest version of GitHub Copilot, you cannot copy and paste to or from the Copilot CLI TUI: neither by right-clicking with the mouse nor using Ctrl+X/C/V.

I’ve experienced a similar problem. In the Copilot CLI, I'm unable to copy text, and whenever I try to paste, it just inserts the last thing I copied outside of the CLI.

This issue makes Copilot CLI almost unusable. Please fix it ASAP.
