This is now supported. You can configure a custom status line using the statusLine.command setting, which runs a script of your choice and renders its output as the status line. A JSON object with session info, model details, cost metrics, and context window stats is piped to your script's stdin, so you can display whatever data you want (todos, weather, etc.). The feature requires experimental mode to be enabled. If you believe this isn't resolved, please feel free to reopen this issue.
