Sometimes cannot paste into cli

Describe the bug

Sometimes I copy and paste code from other place into cli for the agent or model to have more context but it does not work and can't paste code

 GitHub Copilot CLI 1.0.12

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Working and typing a prompt in cli
2. Go outside VS code to management studio for example, copy a store procedure definition 12 lines
3. Do not paste

To fix close editor then connect again and then it allows to paste

Expected behavior

No response

I am using cli in terminal inside vs code, inside a folder where my repo is

This appears to be addressed in releases after v1.0.12. v1.0.13 fixed pasted text corruption when mouse support is active, which is relevant because VS Code's integrated terminal uses mouse mode, and v1.0.14 included an additional fix for a paste-related race condition. Updating to the latest release should resolve this. If you still see the problem after updating, feel free to reopen.
