Same here, and based on Reddit a lot of people suddenly seem to be rate limited with large # of hours to wait.
I did 32 premium requests yesterday, so far have 70% left on my Pro+ plan and got rate limited yesterday for 55 hours.

How can this be?

seriously github team. I get that this may not technically sit inside the app code, but the product is suddenly unusable by your paying customers. Seems like something you ought to take seriously...

Suddenly hit with this as well, wtf. Even after 4 minutes I still get rate limited.

Maybe we should push for "Rate Throttle" as kind of a workaround:
