Proposed solution

Is there a way to turn on auto-run of tools and file changes while you're in a session? There is the --allow-all-tools flag but there is no keybinding to turn on auto-running of tools during a session where its disabled. This is possible in other tools

This has been addressed since v0.0.399 with the /allow-all command (also available as /yolo), which enables auto-approval of tool, path, and URL permissions during an active session without restarting. In v1.0.11, /allow-all on, /allow-all off, and /allow-all show were added for explicit toggle/show controls. If this doesn't fully address the workflow you had in mind, please feel free to reopen the issue.
