Stuck forever, no feedback

Been like this for two hours. Has created nothing but a basic Maven folder structure.

It should be impossible for the CLI to get stuck like this and not intervene on itself, timeout, or provide some sort of feedback. The user has no idea if there's a problem (there is), or if it's doing something (it isn't).

Same here. Occasionally it just freezes, no feedback, and I cannot even cancel it or save current context. When I cancel I get never ending:

Can this be addressed? It's very frustrating and happens regularly, where it just gets stuck, but misleading the user with the brighter purple highlighting.

It's not doing anything, something is broken. E.g., stop wasting the user's time.

Note: I just tried something in IntelliJ's Copilot plugin, that was getting stuck, repeatedly in CLI and it was done in 5 seconds.

Having this issue too now- I'm surprised it's been left unaddressed for so long... Even simply having a timeout for the request would be better than the current state
