YOLO mode activation mid-session

Sometimes it's good to toggle 'YOLO mode' mid-session. Currently this is impossible I believe.

Proposed solution

Ctrl+Y or similar should enable YOLO mode

Example prompts or workflows

"Do this super safe thing I know will work first time without my permissions needed"

Ctrl+Y -> YOLO mode

"Now I want it to ask permission"

Ctrl+Y -> YOLO mode off

Similar question - is there a way to turn this OFF mid-session? With CC, we can turn off bypass-all-permissions mid-session, which is definitely necessary when switching models. Considering Copilot CLI has a broader range of models, I think it's even more important to be able to turn this on and off without quitting and starting up again.

You could always quit and restart the session with copilot --allow-all-tools --allow-all-paths --resume, and then select the previous session to continue in "yolo mode"?

Yes but wouldn't that disrupt the flow a bit?

This was addressed in v0.0.399 -- the /yolo and /allow-all slash commands were added to enable or disable YOLO mode during a session without restarting. Later updates added /yolo on, /yolo off, and /yolo show subcommands for more granular control. If you believe this isn't resolved, feel free to reopen this issue.
