Allow running request inside different model without changing of model

Proposed solution

Changing of model is cumbersome and global. I like to be able to daily drive for example Claude 4.5 Sonnet, and be able to do a quick request to Opus. Or, sometimes daily drive Opus, and send a quick request to Chat GPT mini (free). Many times between lots of complicated things you are tempted to ask a simple question for bridge.

Out of curiosity, have you asked Copilot to use a different model than the one you have selected when making a prompt?

For myself, I typically use /review and tell Copilot CLI to use 2-3 specific models for reviewing a PR and reporting on issues found.

Wait how do you do that ? Can we ask during prompt to use opus and gpt 5.4 for doing two analysis for example ? Is it tied to /review?
