The Company [acquired all right, title, and interest in Heroes of Newerth from Garena Online / Frostburn Studios in 2023], and today develops and commercially operates the game at https://heroesofnewerth.com/. I am authorized by the Company to act on its behalf in intellectual property matters, including the submission of this notice.

+The copyrighted work is the video game Heroes of Newerth, a commercial multiplayer online battle arena game, including all versions of its Windows, macOS, and Linux client and dedicated server software. The work comprises, among other things, the game's executable programs and engine libraries (e.g. hon_x64.exe, k2_x64.dll), thousands of proprietary Lua game scripts, GLSL shader programs, game resource archives, user interface definitions, fonts, and other game data files. Heroes of Newerth was first released in 2010 and is currently live and commercially operated by the Company at https://heroesofnewerth.com/. The infringing repository redistributes complete, verbatim copies of version 4.10.1 of the game (released 18 January 2022), an earlier version of this same copyrighted work.

+Additionally, the other repositories contained in this repository mirror private server code for the game as required to host an unauthorized independent clone of the game. It leaks communication protocols and essential game security processes that were only acquired through leaks of the original source material and/or with the assistance of ex-employees of the company and access to older versions of the software's code. This user's repositories exists solely to host an infringing private server clone of the game, as evident by their launcher assets: https://github.com/Project-KONGOR-Open-Source/WILLOWMAKER/tree/main/source/WILLOWMAKER.Core/Assets which also mirror copyrighted content (https://github.com/Project-KONGOR-Open-Source/WILLOWMAKER/blob/main/source/WILLOWMAKER.Core/Assets/caldavar.png and https://github.com/Project-KONGOR-Open-Source/WILLOWMAKER/blob/main/source/WILLOWMAKER.Core/Assets/willowmaker.png) are images directly from the game, and this launcher exists solely for them to be able to distribute updates and host an illegal copy of the game.
