What changes are you suggesting?
I would like to propose that GitHub's automated release notes should go a bit deeper into each PR's changes, and then use AI with a specified system prompt to read all Changes, and spit them out in a digestible release notes format. Right now, we get the commit comment and who did it, but that is not enough.
In reality, the developer may not give a great commit description that encompasses all that was changed. Their code may be great, and the AI should be able to understand these changes and describe how they affect the end user. I have tested this within the Changes and used CoPilot to do just this, and it worked great. But very manual.
