On the page is written:

Copilot CLI: Each prompt to Copilot CLI uses one premium request.

Now when picking a model on Copilot CLI, you can pick Haiku (0.33x):

 Select Model

 Choose the AI model to use for Copilot CLI. The selected model will be
 persisted and used for future sessions.

 ❯ 1. Claude Sonnet 4.5 (1x) (default) (current)
   2. Claude Sonnet 4 (1x)
   3. Claude Haiku 4.5 (0.33x)
   4. GPT-5 (1x)
   5. Cancel (Esc)

Is the documentation still valid, or should it work like agent mode now?

Agent mode uses one premium request per user prompt, multiplied by the model's rate.

@lvthillo Thanks for opening an issue! I suspect the CLI documentation is talking about using the default model, since it doesn't discuss using others, but I'll check in.

@lvthillo Apparently Copilot CLI didn't allow you to switch models until recently, so that change isn't reflected in the documentation. If you or anyone else would like to open a PR to just clarify that the section is talking about the default model, with other models using premium multipliers as usual, that would be great. I'll put a help wanted label on this.
