What article on docs.github.com is affected?
https://github.com/github/docs/blob/main/content/pull-requests/collaborating-with-pull-requests/getting-started/about-collaborative-development-models.md
What part(s) of the article would you like to see updated?
Reading the linked file the fourth sentence under "Fork and pull model" reads
"You do not need permission from the upstream repository to push to a fork of it you created."
I added the bold for emphasis of what I do not understand.
I believe those words should read "that" or "if". However, I acknowledge I may misunderstand something.
Additional information
First please note that i am a bit lost and came to this repo looking for help. I acknowledge the statement "You may want to open an issue in the internal-only github/docs-content repo instead.", but I could not find that.
I also apologize if this is a duplicate that I could not find.
Second, my real problem is that I got lost at step 4 of the tutorial at https://docs.github.com/en/get-started/start-your-journey/hello-world; I was looking to report an issue with that file.
I would appreciate a response providing me a link where I can report that confusion so that I can help update that document to avoid my confusion.
I have a lot of development experience using SVN and its predecessors so repositories are not a problem, but I am having trouble getting started with the GIT workflow. Feel free to reach out to me directly if that is what makes sense.
This being such an important repository, I am not sure how to open the discussion with an expert to determine if my proposed changes make sense or not. I could easily be adding words that are misleading to somebody who understands things better than myself.
Thanks in advance for your tolerance of any mistakes I made creating this here.
