Resource protected by organization SAML enforcement

I'm connected to the GitHub MCP server on VSCode. When asking a GitHub related question in Copilot Agent mode, I'd get the following error:

Resource protected by organization SAML enforcement. You must grant your OAuth token access to this organization.

Couldn't find any issue related to this in this repo. Though I did find one in the CLI repo, which suggests me to re-authenticate to GitHub with gh auth login. I tried before prompting Copilot but no luck. Same error.

I run into this on a separate machine, meanwhile my laptop works fine.

I've signed out and signed back in (List MCP servers > github mcp server > disconnect account) and restarted the MCP server and it doesn't resolve the issue. Also tried gh auth login

Getting this issue as well recently. Cannot resolve with reinstall or re-auth methods
