Describe the bug

The tools get_copilot_space and list_copilot_spaces are not appearing anymore in the github MCP remote server.
This affects the ability to grap context from Spaces

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. Install Github MCP remote
2. List the available tools
3. get_copilot_space and list_copilot_spaces are not listed

Expected vs actual behavior

get_copilot_space and list_copilot_spaces tools are listed under github mcp remote

It might be a configuration regression.

You can have full tools list by using header configuration like this

What is equivalent config for OAuth? I am facing same issue, and yes it is resolved using PAT, but I prefer to use OAuth.

You don't need PAT. Just use the "X-MCP-Toolsets": "all"

Hello! On 10th October 2025, we introduced "Default Toolsets" - a lightweight set of popular tools.

To enable specific toolsets, please use the X-MCP-Toolsets header for Remote GitHub MCP Server, or GITHUB_TOOLSETS environment variable for Local server. A list of toolsets can be found here: readme#available-toolsets. An "all" value can also be used.

I am using oath and added the suggested field

to the global settings.json and .vscode/settings.json without success. get_copilot_space and list_copilot_spaces are not appearing. What am I missing?

I think you need this in your help docs, people are expecting things like the list and get spaces tool to be there by default.
