For people who are afraid of losing information, there is already a solution — git — and any other solution is not a solution. |

people with ADHD often do things accidentally without realising because of inattention. for example deleting or pasting over some of the text in a file accidentally. later when they go back to the file they don't understand what has happened. if a file could be locked in FSNotes so it can be viewed but not accidentally edited that would be very helpful. this would make the programme more useful for neuro-atypicals and those for whom negotiating git is too complex. don't get me wrong : the inbuilt git versioning is a brilliant feature and you are a hero for making this awesome software freely available ❤️ but all my so-called life i have been told i am stupid but not everyone has a programmers's brain. and i have had to find workarounds for my stupidity. |

the ability to encrypt notes is great of course but it would be even greater if you could also simply lock individual notes instead so they can't be edited at least not in fs notes. thank you!! ❤️
this is for ppl with ADHD who accidentally delete important information in notes lol
