I'm curious if anyone has tested it yet and whether it works for you.

I tried it and it worked well for Android modules, but I couldn’t get it to detect tests in pure Java/Kotlin library modules. Because of that, I have to stick with this plugin.

FYI in case your repo is an Android-only app and does not involve other kind of target platforms, then Java/Kotlin library modules should be avoided. Use Android modules instead.
