The issue tracker is only used to track issues. Please don't use the issue tracker as a user forum or to ask for help regarding Go and MySQL, unless it clearly indicates the a problem with the driver itself. Maintainers are not free tech support.

Here are some communities where you can ask your questions instead:

Stack Overflow -- Use [go] [mysql] tags.
go-nuts -- User forum for Gophers.
Gophers Slack -- Slack for Gophers. Please use #databases channel.
MySQL Community on Slack -- If your question is about MySQL rather than Go's database/sql, please ask here.
