I followed the instructions for the Integrate with GLPI and it works - so far so good.

But the profile in GLIP is missing the name and cannot be modified

The problem is, that the GLPI samlSSO plugin expects the SAML properties surname and givenname, which are not part of standard authentik, see also DonutsNL/samlsso#84.

Solution

Please add the following sentences to the Integrate with GLPI document:

• create two property mappings surname and givenname as described in https://docs.goauthentik.io/add-secure-apps/providers/saml#custom-saml-property-mappings
• activate the two new property mappings to the GLPI SAML provider under Advanced protocol settings section in the User-Property-Mappings
