Go is an open source project.
It is the work of hundreds of contributors. We appreciate your help!
Please read the Contribution Guidelines before sending patches.
Unless otherwise noted, the Go source files are distributed under the BSD-style license found in the LICENSE file.
This repository has a multi-module structure: the root module
(golang.org/x/tools) and the gopls module
(golang.org/x/tools/gopls).
If you are contributing to gopls, please see the specific gopls
contribution guide for detailed instructions on
workspace setup, building, testing, and debugging.
When filing an issue, make sure to answer these five questions:
- What version of Go are you using (
go version)? - What operating system and processor architecture are you using?
- What did you do?
- What did you expect to see?
- What did you see instead?
General questions should go to the golang-nuts mailing list instead of the issue tracker. The gophers there will answer or ask you to file an issue if you've tripped over a bug.
