The Theme.kt code is "depreciated". For the Card to have the default color surfaceContainerHighest highest has to be defined in the lightcolorscheme declaration.

The theme color doesn't work for me. But don't know how to fix the issue. @daultimateboss85 Could you please explain more about why surfaceContainerHighest needs to be defined?

Hey man... as you can tell I am also just learning too ha but essentially, their code works with an "outdated version of Compose" .
If i remember correctly was it the color of a Card that wasnt showing in this problem?

Id recommend having a color picker tool when working with colors. You can then quickly define surfaceContainerHighest with the color you need. though if if i remember correctly the color was then it was just defined to work with the "outdated version of compose" so you can search through the defined colors for the appropriate one and change it so surfaceContainerHighest

They made the change a few years ago https://developer.android.com/jetpack/androidx/releases/compose-material3#1.3.0-alpha02
Use ctrl f on that link and search for surfaceContainerHighest youll see that the FilledCardContainer defaults to what this is set too.
