Solved : try using vpn if you are in Pakistan, worked for me.

Have had this issue since gemini cli was released,
only fix is:

• authenticate using 0.9.0
• then run the latest once authenticated

For the benefit of future explorers: Gemini CLI 0.50 shows this when I try to login with my personal Google account (with AI Pro subscription) and I now get this whereas it worked previously:
